Echinacea for horses is one of the world’s most popular herbs – famed for the way it supports the immune system, assisting the body’s natural defenses against illness and infection.
Equestrizone's Echinacea is a powerful tincture made from the whole organic plant, grown in Portland, Oregan. Echinacea supplement for horses will support an efficient immune system, and is ideal for horses who need extra help. Equestrizone Echinacea liquid for horses can be used for horses and ponies of all ages, during exercise, recuperation and through their retirement.
Herbs given in liquid form are generally faster acting and more quickly effective than the raw dry herb. The support given by Equestrizone's Echinacea will begin from the first day of feeding but the effects to the horse may take a little longer to become apparent. Liquid extracts of herbs are particularly useful for horses prone to poor digestion and absorption, or for fussy eaters.
Just three of the ten species of echinacea are used medicinally, and Echinacea purpurea is the one that has been most widely researched. Standard herbal reference texts recommend oral administration of echinacea by infusion, decoction, expressed juice, liquid extract or tincture.
